Quality Control


Quality Control is a software engineering process, typically used to ensure the quality of the products or services. It’s a bit different than Quality Assurance. While QA is about the testing process, Quality Control examines the quality of the end products. QC contains of product-oriented activities that focus on the final outcome. The purpose of Quality Control is to ensure the product design meets the requirements and specifications of the customers.

Types of Testing

Acceptance Testing


a system is tested for acceptability. The goal of this test is to evaluate the system’s compliance with the business requirements and assess whether it is acceptable for delivery.

Integration Testing


individual units are united and tested as a group. The goal of this level of testing is to expose defects in the interaction between integrated units.

System Testing

 a comprehensive and integrated software is tested. The goal of this test is to evaluate the system’s compliance with the specified requirements.

Unit Testing

individual units of a software are tested. The goal is to validate that each unit of the software execute as designed.
